Who can apply

Who Can Apply

The competition is open to students aged 10-13 years of age, resident in Great Britain and Northern Ireland, studying with an RAD teacher. Candidates must enter the regional heat set for the region in which they reside.

There are two levels for entry to the competition:

Level 1 – For students who are between the ages of 10 and 11 on 5 September 2007 and who have passed RAD Grade 4 or 5 examination with over 60%. Candidates may also apply who are taking examinations in the winter session and applications will be processed pending examination results.

Level 2 - For students who are between the ages of 12 and 13 on 5 September 2007 and who have passed RAD Intermediate Foundation or Intermediate examination with over 60%. Candidates may also apply who are taking examinations at centres in the winter session and applications will be processed pending examination results.
